Lt. Gen. (Retired) Maxwell "Clay" Bailey has stepped down as the Director of
the KY Division of Emergency Management.  BG Joseph "Lonnie" Culver has been
named the interim Director.

Effective immediately, BG Joseph "Lonnie" Culver has been appointed interim
Director of the Division of Emergency Management.
 
BG Culver's appointment comes with the departure of Lt. Gen. (retired)
Maxwell "Clay" Bailey who earlier today announced he was resigning for
personal reasons. 

BG Culver will also continue to serve as Deputy Adjutant General of the
Kentucky Army National Guard.
