As an alternative, for those who are interested in learning about severe weather spotting, there is a nice slideshow available at
the following link:
http://www.crh.noaa.gov/lmk/spotter_reference/spotter_slideshow/
The training is from 1999 by Meterologist Van DeWald of the National Weather Service in Louisville.
Additionally, there is a storm spotter reference guide from the NWS at the link below:
http://www.crh.noaa.gov/lmk/spotter_reference/
Hopefully this will provide the information you need.

Subject: Re: [KYHAM] [District7] Severe Weather Spotter Training
Hello,
Does anyone know of Severe Weather Spotter Training that will be held on Saturday that will be east of I-65? I work second shift
and if I go to a class during the week it requires me to take a vacation day. If I was a day worker week night training would be
fine or if I was a government worker then I could attend the class at night and either be paid overtime or get required training.
Back to the original question -- Does anyone know of Severe Weather Spotter Training that will be held on Saturday?
Thanks,
Danny K4DOJ
