[KYHAM] VE Information

I just passed my General upgrade and now I am thinking about becoming a VE.
  What is the process for me to apply for VE status to assist the other VE's in my area with testing new prospective hams?
  I have seen the ARRL section on the web but at the moment I haven't had time to read through the information.
