KY ARES Bulletin Release 001

For widest amateur  radio distribution possible.  Please include in club 
newsletters, web  sites, and Kentucky amateur radio email lists.

To all ARES  Appointees,

As we approach the New Year, it is time to renew your appointment and  make 
sure that KY Section ARES has the most updated information.  On  January 1, 
2008 all KY ARES OES, EC and DEC appointments will expire unless  renewed by the 
appointee.  

Renewing your appointment is simple and  will take less than 5 minutes.  Go 
to  http://www.kyham.net/form/aresappt.html and fill out the Station 
Appointment  Application form.  Please make sure you do so on or before December 31,  
2007.  Do not put this off and let your appointment expire.   

If you are an ARES appointee without Internet access, send word to me on  the 
KEN or contact me directly at 859-699-7632 (during normal waking hours  
please) 

Renewing ARES appointments will become an annual tradition in  Kentucky.
