Clearly a generic response which some clerk who opens the mail is assigned to send to anyone who sent a letter that includes "BPL" -- based on the content of the response I would  doubt that the staff is even bothering to count the number of letters for vs against.  This is discouraging but not very surprising.

A more disturbing thing is that the response was obviously drafted and approved by staff members none of whom have even the foggiest idea what either BPL or Amateur Radio.

  Here is the reply that I got from my US Congressman Geoff Davis.
  Sounds to me that since he doesn't serve on that commettee he isn't going to do anything except sit on his hands as usual.  That's why I voted against him.
  And I am GOING TO VOTE AGAINST HIM NEXT TIME TOO!!!
